I do not use human names for kitties very often, but Jeffrey came from Jefferson County Animal Control and I needed a name right away to get him some medical care, so Jeffrey it is!  He came in with one heck of a cold and we did the whole anti-biotic thing and he recovered very nicely.  He still has a few nasal sounds but recovery is almost 100%.  Jeffrey is addicted to cat nip and I am his supplier.  He only needs to see me get the bottle f spray out and he is up the kitty tree to wait for his fix!  He rolls in it, licks it up, and acts completely goofy for ten minutes; so entertaining!  He loves brushing, petting, scratching, and playing; but can be skittish.  He hates the carrier and hates trips to the vet or PetSmart with a white hot passion.  He can be a little shy at first but gets over his fear quickly when loving care is doled out and is very good at hiding when he knows a trip is in order! He gets along with most other kitties after a proper introduction but has picked one particular female he likes to bully, he is a little afraid of new kitties at first; but brushing both with the same brush and mixing up smells speeds the friendship up quite a bit.  He shares a room with several other kitties of both sexes and gets along with almost everyone.  He has not been exposed to dogs and is used to a calm and quiet home.  When he hears me coming to his room he is up on the tree waiting for me.  He likes to meet me at face level for proper kitty greetings and then cannot wait for me to open the can of food he shares with his friends.  Jeffrey was born in April of 2013 and ready for his forever home.  Jeffrey is Heartland #8634CL and is neutered, up to date on all shots, micro chipped, negative for FIV and FeLV, and has been treated for parasites.
